ACCE CONFERENCE
2 0 2 6
2nd-5th November 2026 | Merchant Taylors' Hall, York
Adapting to the Challenges of a Changing Environment (ACCE) is a Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) and partnership between the Universities of Sheffield, Liverpool and York, the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH), and the Natural History Museum (NHM).
ACCE exists to produce the next generation of exceptional biological scientists, using techniques from palaeontology to planet-wide remote sensing to tackle an uncertain future.
ACCE DTP Conference 2026: Presenting your research, building your community.
The ACCE Conference 2026 arrives in the historic city of York for its 12th iteration! We are thrilled to host this year’s gathering at Merchant Taylors' Hall, a stunning 610-year-old medieval guild hall that offers a unique backdrop for our research community.
From the 2nd–5th of November, join us for a four-day program featuring an Away Day followed by three academic days.
Expect a schedule of student talks, poster sessions, workshops, and external speakers, with enough time to enjoy York’s medieval streets and beautiful scenery.
The Away Day will take place on the 2nd of November and more details will be revealed in the coming months.
